If you are not my patient already, but would like a second opinion from me, either at King's
College Hospital or at the Blackheath Hospital, I would be happy to see you if you GP refers you. You can do this on-line
and I would be happy to give advice before our consultation if you send the information on to me via my e-mail address below.
I will receive an SMS text message when your request arrives, and I will attempt to reply as promptly as possible.
To give an opinion, I need a copy of your last clinic letter from your doctor, a photograph of your limb if available,
good quality x ray images and highlights of any CT or MRI scan that you may have.
You will need to have digital copies of your x rays: you can get these by asking the hospital to make a CD for you or
taking a 'memory stick' to your consultation. Your doctor may be able to download the images directly for you. You may be
charged a small fee for a CD. You would then need to download these to your computer and send them as an attachment to me.
You will also need to scan the last doctor's letter, unless the doctor's secretary will e-mail you a copy of the letter. For
scans, it may be easier to send the whole CD to me at the Blackheath Hospital. We will of course return it if you send a stamped
addressed envelope.
